Type specimen: USNM 237270, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Governor Run, south, Zone 17, which is in a Serravallian shoreface sandstone in the Choptank Formation of Maryland.

• Miocene of United States (2: Maryland, Virginia collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
