Synonym: Lituites primulus Barrande 1865
Belongs to Trocholites according to S. Manda 2008
Sister taxa: Trocholites ammonius, Trocholites contractus, Trocholites depressus, Trocholites faberi, Trocholites gennadii, Trocholites gracilis, Trocholites hospes, Trocholites internestriatus, Trocholites ruedemanni
Type specimens:
- Trocholites fugax: Museo GeoMinero, Madrid, NE VII 2639, a shell
- Lituites primulus: CGH L 40460, a shell. Its type locality is Svatá Dobrotivá, which is in a Dobrotivian offshore shale in the Dobrotiva Formation of Czechia.
Ecology: fast-moving nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution:
• Dobrotivian of Czechia (4 collections)
Total: 4 collections each including a single occurrence
