Type specimen: Musee Geologique Cantonal de Lausanne 59'583, a partial skull (Associated upper and lower jaw). Its type locality is Ecqueville, Octeville-sur-Mer, which is in a Kimmeridgian marine claystone in the Argiles d'Octeville Formation of France.

Ecology: volant piscivore

Distribution: found only at Ecqueville, Octeville-sur-Mer
