Sister taxa: none

Type specimen: SGP 2001/19, a partial skull (Anterior portion of skull). Its type locality is Liuhonggou, 40 km south-west of Urumqi, which is in an Aptian/Albian lacustrine mudstone/siltstone in the Lianmuqin Formation of China.

Ecology: volant piscivore

Distribution: found only at Liuhonggou, 40 km south-west of Urumqi
