Type specimen: UNAM, an exoskeleton (nearly complete specimen). Its type locality is Agua la Iglesia, San Juan Raya, which is in an Aptian lagoonal shale in the San Juan Raya Formation of Mexico.

Ecology: infaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of Mexico (3 collections)
