Type specimen: PAt 16707, a pygidium. Its type locality is Yamasuge, Kuzuu Town, Tochigi Prefecture, which is in a Roadian carbonate limestone in the Nabeyama Formation of Japan.

Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal deposit feeder
