• Mastodonsaurus giganteus: GPIT Am 678, a partial skull (both exoccipitals in articulation, posterior part of parasphenoid, small medial fragments of both pterygoids, and basalmost parts of the otic ossification). Its type locality is Gaildorf, which is in a Longobardian estuary/bay shale in the Erfurt Formation of Germany.
