Type specimen: BSP AS 1363, a skeleton (complete specimen). Its type locality is Eichstätt [Solnhofener Plattenkalk], which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofener Plattenkalk Formation of Germany.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Eichstätt [Solnhofener Plattenkalk]
