Type specimen: MV 6199, a partial skull (braincase with eye pigments and teeth). Its type locality is MV 7106, Supercrop Quarry, Bear Gulch, which is in an Arnsbergian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Heath Formation of Montana.
Ecology: nektonic carnivore
Distribution: found only at MV 7106, Supercrop Quarry, Bear Gulch
