Type specimen: R49, a test. Its type locality is Q08/f555, Matakohe Quarry [Mahurangi Limestone], which is in an Oligocene marine limestone in the Mahurangi Limestone Formation of New Zealand.
Ecology: passively mobile planktonic omnivore
