Type specimen: Holotype HF 777, a skeleton. Its type locality is Jasenice, Stramberk reef limestone, Czechia, which is in a Tithonian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Stramberk Limestone Formation of Czechia.
Ecology: stationary intermediate-level epifaunal photosymbiotic-suspension feeder
