Sister taxa: none
Type specimen: USNM 489135, a partial skeleton (stylopods, zeugopods, and ventral portions of the skull and pectoral girdle are missing). Its type locality is USNM Locality 40971, which is in a Kungurian terrestrial siltstone in the Arroyo or Vale Formation of Texas.
Ecology: amphibious carnivore
Distribution: found only at USNM Locality 40971
