Type specimen: University of Illinois no. X-1219, an exoskeleton (thorax, abdomen, uropods, second antennae, and carapace). Its type locality is South of Heath, which is in a Chesterian marine shale in the Heath Shale Formation of Montana.
Ecology: epifaunal omnivore
Distribution: found only at South of Heath
