Type specimen: MCSNV 515, 516, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Cava, near Castello, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian carbonate carbonate in Italy.
Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore
Distribution: found only at Cava, near Castello
