Type specimens:

  • Anthracokeryx tenuis: GSI B625 and GSI B626 (left maxillary fragment with M1-2 and left mandibular fragment with M1 and posterior part of dP4). Its type locality is Pakokku District, Pondaung Sandstone, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial sandstone/siliciclastic in the Pondaung Formation of Myanmar.
  • Anthracokeryx bambusae: Its type locality is Pakokku District, Pondaung Sandstone, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial sandstone/siliciclastic in the Pondaung Formation of Myanmar.
  • Anthracokeryx myaingensis: Its type locality is Than-u-daw, Pondaung Sandstone, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial sandstone/siliciclastic in the Pondaung Formation of Myanmar.
  • Anthracokeryx ulnifer: Its type locality is Paukkaung, Pondaung Sandstone, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial sandstone/siliciclastic in the Pondaung Formation of Myanmar.
