Sister taxon: Anoualerpeton priscus
Type specimen: MNHN.MCM 187, a maxilla (right premaxilla). Its type locality is Ksar Met-Lili, Anoual, which is in a Tithonian/Berriasian deltaic sandstone in the Ksar Metlili Formation of Morocco.

• Jurassic to Cretaceous of Morocco (5 collections)
