Sister taxon: Notobatrachus degiustoi

Type specimen: MPEF 3006, a partial skeleton (impressions of several bones of several skeletal (cranial and postcranial) regions). Its type locality is Zitarrosa Site, which is in a Toarcian/Bajocian lacustrine siltstone in the Cañadón Asfalto Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution:

• Jurassic of Argentina (3 collections)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
