Type specimen: MLP 62-XII-7-1, a partial skeleton (dorsal imprint of an incomplete skeleton lacking most skull bones). Its type locality is Lif-Mahuida Quarry, which is in a Langhian terrestrial diatomite in the Collón Curá Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution: found only at Lif-Mahuida Quarry
