Sister taxon: Numidotherium koholense
Type specimen: 6821/10 (University of Bristol), a mandible. Its type locality is Dur At-Talah (west of the escarpment) - 68.19, which is in a Bartonian/Eocene marginal marine conglomerate in Libya.
Ecology: ground dwelling grazer-browser
Distribution: found only at Dur At-Talah (west of the escarpment) - 68.19
