Type specimen: IVPP V14582, a skull (Skull and five cervical vertebrae). Its type locality is Dapingfang, which is in an Aptian lacustrine mudstone in the Jiufotang Formation of China.
Ecology: volant piscivore
Distribution: found only at Dapingfang
