Type specimen: NJSM 10682, a shell. Its type locality is Brandywine Lighthouse well, 825 ft, which is in an Eocene coastal siltstone in New Jersey.

Ecology: facultatively mobile low-level epifaunal suspension feeder

Distribution: found only at Brandywine Lighthouse well, 825 ft
