Type specimen: USNM 365136, a shell. Its type locality is TU 1432 - Residential Martin Luther King [lower Gatun Fm], which is in a Tortonian coastal siltstone in the Gatun Formation of Panama.

Ecology: epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Miocene of Panama (2 collections)
