Type specimen: USNM 647452, a shell. Its type locality is TU 830 - Tenmile Creek, which is in a Burdigalian marine marl/sandstone in the Chipola Formation of Florida.
Ecology: epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at TU 830 - Tenmile Creek
