Type specimen: CM 81741, a tooth (left m1 or m2). Its type locality is Red Hot, which is in a Wasatchian estuary/bay sandstone in the Tuscahoma Formation of Mississippi.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Red Hot
