Type specimen: SMNS 56628, a partial skeleton (Very fragmentary cranial and postcranial remains). Its type locality is Clay Pit, Engelbostel, Hannover, which is in a Hauterivian offshore claystone in Germany.
Ecology: volant piscivore
Distribution: found only at Clay Pit, Engelbostel, Hannover
