Belongs to Divaricella according to W. P. Woodring 1982
Sister taxa: Divaricella (Divaricella), Divaricella (Egracina), Divaricella cumulata, Divaricella irpex, Divaricella macandreae, Divaricella oppenheimi, Divaricella ornata
Type specimen: Its type locality is Cueva de Angostura [Angostura Fm], which is in a Miocene shallow subtidal sandstone/conglomerate in the Angostura Formation of Ecuador
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal chemosymbiotic
Distribution:
• Miocene of Ecuador (2 collections), Panama (4)
Total: 6 collections each including a single occurrence
