Type specimen: MLP 30387, a shell. Its type locality is Quebrada Honda, which is in an Artinskian marine sandstone in the Mojon de Hierro Formation of Argentina.

Ecology: slow-moving low-level epifaunal detritivore

Distribution: found only at Quebrada Honda
