Type specimen: SMU 76383, a mandible. Its type locality is Joe Pool Lake, Mansfield (SMU 424), which is in a Cenomanian marine sandstone in the Tarrant Formation of Texas.

Distribution: found only at Joe Pool Lake, Mansfield (SMU 424)
