Type specimen: SMNK 1132, a partial skeleton (Postcranial skeleton lacking skull). Its type locality is Nova Olinda quarries, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large lime mudstone/mudstone in the Crato Formation of Brazil.
Ecology: volant piscivore
Distribution: found only at Nova Olinda quarries
