Sister taxon: Santanadactylus spixi

Type specimen: Geol. Institute Univ. Amsterdram 4894, a set of limb elements (Partial humerus, scapula-coraocid). Its type locality is Chapada do Araripe [Romualdo Fm.] (general), which is in an Aptian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Romualdo Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: volant piscivore

Distribution: found only at Chapada do Araripe [Romualdo Fm.] (general)
