Type specimen: BSP 1987 I 46, a skull (Skull and lower jaw). Its type locality is Chapada do Araripe [Romualdo Fm.] (general), which is in an Aptian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal shale in the Romualdo Formation of Brazil.

Ecology: volant piscivore

Distribution: found only at Chapada do Araripe [Romualdo Fm.] (general)
