Type specimen: USNM 643693, a shell. Its type locality is Woodring loc. 138a [lower Gatun Fm], which is in a Tortonian marine sandstone in the Gatun Formation of Panama.

Ecology: epifaunal carnivore

Distribution: found only at Woodring loc. 138a [lower Gatun Fm]
