Type specimen: "field no. 250 AMNH", a mandible (fragments of two lower jaws). Its type locality is Beaver Creek, 42 (Arroyo Formation), which is in a Kungurian terrestrial claystone/sandstone in the Arroyo Formation of Texas.

Distribution: found only at Beaver Creek, 42 (Arroyo Formation)
