Type specimen: UCMP 36199, a mandible (right mandibular ramus lacking only the articular). Its type locality is Holbrook quarry, UCMP V3922, which is in an Aegean/Bithynian fine channel fill siltstone in the Moenkopi Formation of Arizona.

Ecology: amphibious carnivore

Distribution: found only at Holbrook quarry, UCMP V3922
