Type specimen: NMMNH P-55141. Its type locality is Crittenden Springs, Thaynes Formation, Elko County, Nevada, which is in a Smithian deep subtidal limestone in the Thaynes Formation of Nevada.

Distribution:

• Triassic of United States (11: Nevada, Utah collections)

Total: 11 collections each including a single occurrence
