Type specimen: PIN 1572/430. Its type locality is Avush Gorge, Dzhulfian Stage, which is in a Wuchiapingian marine horizon in the Julfa Formation of Azerbaijan.

Ecology: nektobenthic carnivore

Average measurements (in mm): shell diameter 57.0

Distribution: found only at Avush Gorge, Dzhulfian Stage
