Type specimen: CYGB-0037, a partial skeleton (Incomplete skeleton with a partial skull and lower jaws). Its type locality is Daxishan, Linglongta, which is in a Bathonian/Kimmeridgian lacustrine sandstone/mudstone in the Tiaojishan Formation of China.
Ecology: volant piscivore
Distribution: found only at Daxishan, Linglongta
