Type specimen: LHV0001a,b, a skeleton (A nearly completely articulated skeleton). Its type locality is Shangheshou, which is in an Aptian lacustrine sandstone/mudstone in the Jiufotang Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Shangheshou
