Type specimen: IVPP V15336, a skeleton (nearly complete skeleton preserved in partial articulation). Its type locality is Dapingfang, which is in an Aptian lacustrine mudstone in the Jiufotang Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Dapingfang
