Belongs to Maryvillia according to C. Lochman and C. Hu 1962
Sister taxa: Maryvillia arion, Maryvillia triangularis
Type specimen: U.S.N.M. 138260e, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is ⅛ mile north of the Gallatin River along the Pilgrim cliff, Logan, which is in a Steptoean offshore limestone in the Pilgrim Formation of Montana.
Ecology: fast-moving low-level epifaunal carnivore
Distribution: found only at ⅛ mile north of the Gallatin River along the Pilgrim cliff, Logan
