Type specimen: MOR 2501, a mandible (L & R dentaries with I, p3, p4, m1). Its type locality is Shell Hell (MOR Loc. 703), which is in an Edmontonian fluvial mudstone in the St. Mary River Formation of Montana.
Ecology: arboreal omnivore
Distribution: found only at Shell Hell (MOR Loc. 703)
