Belongs to Vjushkovisaurus according to D. J. Gower and A. G. Sennikov 2000

Type specimen: PIN 2865/62 (formerly SGU 104/3871), a set of postcrania (12 vertebrae and a complete humerus). Its type locality is Berdyanka II (locality 32), PIN 2865, which is in an Anisian deltaic sandstone in the Donguz Formation of the Russian Federation.
