Sister taxon: Megaleuctra neavei
Type specimen: UC Boulder J 105b, a forewing (Forewing). Its type locality is South of Juliaetta, which is in a Langhian lacustrine - small mudstone in the Latah Formation of Idaho.
Ecology: volant detritivore-omnivore
Distribution: found only at South of Juliaetta
