Type specimen: SMSS, a partial skeleton (Partial skull, vertebral column, partial pectoral girdle, two forefins and parts of the hindfins). Its type locality is Pit "Gitter", Salzgitter, which is in an Aptian marine mudstone in Germany.

Ecology: nektonic carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of France (1 collection), Germany (1)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
