Type specimen: MCDUT 14454, a partial skeleton. Its type locality is Tongbao village, Tong'an, which is in a Jurassic fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Yimen Formation of China.
Ecology: ground dwelling herbivore
Distribution: found only at Tongbao village, Tong'an
