Type specimen: CAS 157, a shell. Its type locality is CAS 168, northwest of Scappoose, which is in a Rupelian marine sandstone in the Pittsburg Bluff Formation of Oregon.

Ecology: epifaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Oligocene of Canada (5: British Columbia collections), United States (10: California, Oregon, Washington)

Total: 15 collections each including a single occurrence
