Type specimen: IVy 0216, a valve (Left valve, external mold). Its type locality is Nazhe, Mubian, Funing County, which is in an Anisian marine horizon in the Baifeng Formation of China.
Ecology: facultatively mobile deep infaunal suspension feeder
Distribution: found only at Nazhe, Mubian, Funing County
