Type specimen: BP/1/5237, a skeleton. Its type locality is Eagles Crag, which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian terrestrial sandstone in the Elliot Formation of South Africa.

Ecology: carnivore

Distribution: found only at Eagles Crag
