Type specimens:

  • Eubrontes lyellii: AC 1/1, 1/7, a footprint. Its type locality is Lily Pond Quarry, Gill, which is in a Hettangian fluvial-lacustrine shale/sandstone in the Turners Falls Formation of Massachusetts.
  • Anomoepus major: Its type locality is Roswell Field's Orchard, Gill, which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian fluvial-lacustrine sandstone/shale in the Portland Formation of Massachusetts.

Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore

Distribution:

• Jurassic of United States (3: Massachusetts collections)
