Sister taxon: Dipsacaster africanus

Type specimen: Holotype D.S. 01, Laboratoire de Géologie Sédimentaire et Paléontologie, University of Toulouse. Its type locality is Le Jadet quarry, Petites Pyrénées, Haute-Garonne, which is in a Maastrichtian open shallow subtidal grainstone/mudstone in the Calcaire Nankin Formation of France.

Ecology: slow-moving semi-infaunal carnivore

Distribution:

• Cretaceous of France (2 collections)

Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
